South County Postpartum Doulas understand that parents, whether new or experienced need time to adjust to their additional responsibilities.
South County Postpartum Doulas Support,Encourage and Educate parents about their own instincts in meeting each of their children’s needs, thus making an easier transition into parenthood.

Overnight care is for new parents to feel confident that their baby is in competent hands so that they can get a substantial stretch of sleep. Overnight care is particularly helpful when the mother has had a cesarean section, a difficult pregnancy or birth experience, maternal physical or mental health concerns, maternal or infant sleep challenges, newborn adoption, one parent is absent, or when one or both parents are returning to work. We also support families with multiple babies, navigate night time sleep issues an
d help with sleep routines.

A South County Doula's duties may include, but are not limited to mothering the mother, giving her time relax and recupurate. Information and support on breast or bottle feeding. Baby care instruction for multiples and singletons. Sibling support and Overnight support.
