A South County Postpartum Doula is a neutral third party, non-judgmental caregiver, with a quiet presence in your home.

South County Postpartum Doulas understand that parents, whether new or experienced need time to adjust to their additional responsibilities.

South County Postpartum Doulas Support,Encourage and Educate parents about their own instincts in meeting each of their children’s needs, thus making an easier transition into parenthood.

Overnight care includes infant, maternal

and breastfeeding support.

 
Overnight care is for new parents to feel confident that their baby is in competent hands so that they can get a substantial stretch of sleep.  Overnight care is particularly helpful when the mother has had a cesarean section, a difficult pregnancy or birth experience, maternal physical or mental health concerns, maternal or infant sleep challenges, newborn adoption, one parent is absent, or when one or both parents are returning to work. We also support families with multiple babies, navigate night time sleep issues and help with sleep routines.
